Dionne Battle, Camp Coordinator.


Equipped with more than 16 years of special events management and coordination experience, Dionne completed her undergraduate studies at Georgia State University where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. A recipient of a graduate school grant, she temporarily relocated from her native city of Atlanta to earn a Masters in Public Management from Baruch College in New York City.

Throughout her career, she continually strives to make a positive impact on young adults and children, whether by school volunteerism, personal mentoring, career tutoring, assistance in Habitat for Humanity projects or the involvement in various youth initiatives during her graduate school internship in Northern California. Dionne has coordinated and/or managed over 300 events nationwide with a clientele affiliation consisting of local and NBA celebrities, government officials as well as non-profit and corporate executives. A member of Mount Ephraim Baptist Church, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and the International Special Events Society (ISES), Dionne prides herself in putting the "extra" into "ordinary".
